Comments
I really do love to hear what you’re thinking and in most cases what you write adds to the value of the discussion. However, for the benefit of those new to blog commenting, acceptable comments will meet one of more of the following criteria.
- Adds value to the post.
- Highlights something relevant that was not mentioned in the post.
- A response or answer to something raised in the post or subsequent comments.
- More than one sentence and is on-topic.
- Is posted by a regular contributor.
If your comment does not fall into any of the above categories it has a slim chance of being approved. If you have taken the time to write something a bit spammy just for the sake of getting a link back to some site you are promoting, I might end up using it but I will repoint the URL to one of my sites.
